Discrepancies and gaps in the ISOGG tree and SNP database (19 July 2013) [1]. See for updates to this report. These issues were detected at the end of July 2013. Some may have been resolved in the interim. This list of discrepancies may seem large, but the list of "non-discrepancies" is orders of magnitudes larger -- on the whole, the dataset is pretty self-consistent. Chris Morley 8 August 2013 Reference: [1] International Society of Genetic Genealogy (2013). Y-DNA Haplogroup Tree 2013, Version: 8.64, Date: 19 July 2013, http://www.isogg.org/tree/ [Date of access: 25 July 2013]. ======== These issues were found after a manual inspection of : 1) L206 and M193 are at the haplogroup T level according ISOGG_YDNATreeTrunk.html and ISOGG_HapgrpK.html, and at the T1 level according to ISOGG_HapgrpT.html. (Only 2 of 11 haplogroup T Geno kits have been scored L206+ and 1 of 11 scored M193+.) 2) ISOGG_YDNATreeTrunk.html places V164 at A0. ISOGG_YDNA_SNP_Index.html places V164 at A0a1. ISOGG_HapgrpA.html places it at both. 3) ISOGG_YDNATreeTrunk.html provisionally places PAGE3/IMS-JST006841 at the haplogroup D level. ISOGG_HapgrpD.html and ISOGG_YDNA_SNP_Index.html say D2a1b2. ======== These issues were detected automatically, by a separate process (created after the above three issues were noticed).
